De Hoftoren, The Hague

Location: The Netherlands

“De Hoftoren” in The Hague is the second tallest building in The Netherlands, and is home to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The 142-meter-high building has 29 floors with an area of over 43,000 m2. On each floor, an ultra-low Spill ™ hearing loop system was installed.

This system was designed to be discreet and avoid accidentally letting hearing impaired people listen in on private conversations from outside the meeting rooms. The ultra-low spill TM technique minimizes the vertical stray field and prevents the crosstalk of the loops between the floors. In total, 56 amp type ILD 252 with 28 signal processors were used of the type SP5.
