Reinforcing mesh

Please note that Ampetronic do not buy or supply reinforcing mesh.

We only refer to the effects of metal mesh in connection with the losses it causes with induction loop systems.

In order to provide you with accurate quotations and design information, we need a good appreciation of the type and quantity of metal mesh contained within the floor or ceiling in the area where the Inductive Loop is planned to be installed. This information can usually be obtained from building plans or from the original architect.

If this information is not available, a site visit may be the only way to accurately determine signal loss due to metal. For non-critical or budgetary purposes, it may be necessary to estimate metalwork based on building type and construction. For example, a single story classroom is unlikely to contain much reinforcing, whereas a multi-storey car park most certainly will.
