Revision of IEC60118-4 is at a final CDV (Committee Draft for Vote) stage, with excellent progress made over the last couple of years.
The standard has undergone some major revision to make it much more user friendly, for example: assuming it makes it through the review process, there will be a flow chart of the procedure for setting up and commissioning an audio-frequency induction–loop system. This will outline the sequence of operations from suitability of the site right through to commissioning of the system and references clause numbers in the standard at each stage.
