Over the last 18 months, Ampetronic have gone from strength to strength.Due to an increase in demand for our design services we require an additional Professional Audio Systems Engineer.
Ampetronic are the recognised leaders in the specialised field of Audio Induction Loop Systems. We are well known throughout the world for the excellent quality and performance of our products and systems. Over the last 20 years we have consistently been the leading innovator in providing high quality assistance to the hard-of-hearing, in the broadest range of environments and applications.
Technical support services and installation design are very important and growing areas of our business around the world, and are highly valued by our customers. We are growing our support team and we now have a vacancy for an additional engineer. The role will be based in our offices, with a requirement to visit customer sites on a regular basis.
The role is very varied. You should expect to be involved in:
· telephone support, giving technical advice and guidance on loop and audio systems
· identification and analysis of customer requirements
· design of loop and audio installations
· site visits and surveys
· report writing
· preparation of quotations and bids, and
· customer training
We are looking for an applicant with a technical background, and with excellent skills in communication and presentation, specification and practical installation of audio systems. Language and technical sales skills would be an advantage. Full training will be given in all aspects of the role.
