Bernowa-Hall – Municipality of Leibstadt
The Ampetronic C7-2N Hearing Loop Driver was the chosen solution for the Bernowa-Hall renovation, providing reliable and inclusive assistive listening for visitors with hearing loss.
The Municipality of Leibstadt sought to renovate its ageing multi-purpose hall, a key venue for sports, cultural, and community events. Stage-Conzept Showtechnik AG was selected to modernise the facility, ensuring it met contemporary standards, including accessibility for people with hearing impairments.
Challenge
With a capacity of up to 650 people, the 400 m² hall required a modern assistive listening solution that would seamlessly integrate into the renovation while providing reliable coverage for users with hearing aids and cochlear implants. The installation needed to be carefully planned to meet accessibility requirements without disrupting other technical upgrades.
Solution
Stage-Conzept Showtechnik AG collaborated with Showsupply, Ampetronic’s Swiss distribution partner, to implement an inductive hearing loop system. The chosen system was designed to cover approximately half of the hall, ensuring effective signal reception for hearing aid users. The project was executed efficiently, with the technical stage section completed in a short timeframe.
Result
The installation successfully enhanced the hall’s accessibility, providing a high-quality assistive listening experience for attendees. The solution met all necessary requirements, ensuring inclusivity for people with hearing impairments while complementing the broader renovation efforts. The upgraded venue now supports a diverse range of events with improved technical capabilities.
