Assessing the needs of young people with hearing loss is a specialist area, and requires some knowledge about the implications of deafness on learning and working as well as what can be provided to support such students.
The event we’ll be co-hosting at our friends the Ear Foundation’s head office in Nottingham on the 8th February 2016, will provide assessors with the opportunity to explore the impact of deafness on communication in everyday life, learning and the workplace as well as the latest hearing technologies and how they can help. Ampetronic will be delivering a session entitled: Why hearing aid users are campaigning for Loop systems, which will explore the reasons why people with hearing loss are asking service providers to up their game when it comes to providing hearing loops.
