Russell joined Ampetronic in 1996, after completing a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nottingham University.
He has over 20 years.experience of developing class leading technology and solutions for assistive listening.
Russell is a UK representative for IEC TC29 committee on Electroacoustics, and plays a prominent role in the development of standards related to induction loop systems.
A keen musician, sport & technology enthusiast, but most of all a problem solver, Russell has some empathy with the hearing impaired as he experiences minor hearing loss in one ear; however his motivation for working within the industry is really to help people to communicate by providing great products and services.

Fiona Pembery
Finance Director

On leaving Durham University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics, Fiona went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant before deciding to leave practice in favour of work as an Accountant in industry.
After gaining experience in a variety of roles, Fiona joined a global technology and manufacturing group where she led the European finance team for 16 years.
Fiona joined Ampetronic at the end of 2023. She is a highly motivated Finance Director and brings with her extensive experience of operational and change management across finance and the wider business.

Sam Burkinshaw

Sam studied Broadcast Sound Design (BA) at Ravensbourne College. Once qualified Sam undertook freelance audio projects ranging from corporate events, live music, theatre productions and sporting events.
Sam joined Ampetronic in 2013, initially as a system design engineer working closely with partners and distributors across Europe, Middle East and North America.
In 2019, after progressing through a variety of different roles, Sam moved into his current position as Head of Business Development.
When not working, Sam can be found sound designing local theatre productions and exploring new cultures.

Lisa Stubinska-Carter
Global Supply Chain Manager

Lisa is a project procurement, supply chain, and commercial professional with deep experience supporting engineering-led programmes across the UK, Europe, and North America.
In her current role as Global Supply Chain Manager, she leads procurement and supply chain activities for UK and US projects, shaping tender procurement strategies, managing direct and indirect categories, and driving Quality, Cost, Delivery and Technology (QCDT) performance across bids and live work packages. Lisa is known for building strong cross-functional networks between Sales, Sourcing, Engineering, Project Controls, and operational teams, and for bringing structure to make-or-buy decisions, risk mitigation, and supplier governance.
Her background includes senior leadership roles, where she helped deploy several large business changes and improved procurement data and planning processes, as well as earlier procurement roles supporting rail and rolling stock projects.
Lisa holds an MBA and a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership.
