Ampetronic in Norway

Date: 23rd May 2008

Ampetronic, designer and manufacturer of some of Europe’s most advanced induction loop systems, has announced that it has entered into a distribution partnership with Scandec Systemer AS of Norway.

Located just south of the capital Oslo, Scandec was established in 1984 and has enjoyed steady growth, today employing 25 people and offering a full range of services to the industry, including sales, systems design, technical support, transport and warehousing.

“Our mission is to work with the best brands in the pro and commercial audio industry,” says Scandec product manager Bjørnar Riise. “We sell through a well established dealer network throughout Norway, consisting of AV integrators, electro-installers and special audio companies.

“At Scandec we have a lot of experience with induction loop amplifiers and we believe Ampetronic has the best products in the industry - the output voltage capacity and metal loss correction of Ampetronic equipment are certainly superior to any other comparable products.

“Ampetronic’s design and engineering staff have the highest skill levels and they have always been ready to assist us on some extremely challenging projects. We are confident that our partnership will provide great mutual benefits.”

Ampetronic managing director Julian Pieters adds, ”We have collaborated closely with Scandec on a number of previous projects and it’s clear that Norway is a very healthy market. Bringing Scandec on board as a distributor will not only give Ampetronic a major presence in Norway, it will also allow the two companies to work more closely together, which can only be of benefit to Norwegian end users.

“We are very much looking forward to developing our relationship with Scandec and feel sure that it will be an extremely positive affiliation.”
