Audio induction loop systems – assisted listening and hearing devices

Portable systems

There are two types of portable induction loop systems:

Portable room loop kits

An amplifier, cables and microphones in a case for setting up temporary loops. Ampetronic can provide kits for this purpose. Alternatively you can purchase Ampetronic equipment in a pre-assembled kit from Connevans.

Portable integrated loop systems

Many companies offer portable induction loops with an amplifier and loop combined for counters or reception desks or similar, or as clipboards or other portable items.

Ampetronic do not sell portable loops. Portable loops are generally unsuitable for providing an acceptable level of service to the hearing impaired, and great caution is advised for anyone considering such a purchase. We propose some questions that should be asked if considering portable loop systems here.
